Select Courses (a full list will appear when you select the Department)

This Registration Form is for summer coursework at The Tenney School. All coursework will be completed in a one-to-one setting. Specific course times and dates will be established once a student is matched to an instructor.

Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, you will be contacted via email if the school is closed. Final scheduling will be completed in May.

Final invoices will be sent out on May 1.

Courses For Credit: Each course will cover the equivalent of one semester of material (0.5 high school credit). Students may take up to 2 courses each week (4 courses total). Please select the course(s) you’d like to request for your student. For courses for credit please indicate whether you would like the A or B part of the class.

Fall Semester = A | Spring Semester = B.

You must sign up for both a "A" & "B" course to take an entire year of instruction.

Enrichment Courses

Non-credit high school and middle school courses are taken for “Enrichment.” Enrichment courses are typically geared to gaps identified on standardized tests.
The Tenney School Summer School Policy
Parents will receive a Transcript upon course completion. If the student is not enrolled at The Tenney School, an Official Transcript will be sent to schools upon parent request (students are responsible for ensuring home school will grant credit). This fee includes instruction, books, and home room. An additional charge will be levied if students lose or damage their issued textbooks or are required to make up classes due to poor attendance. We are committed to ensuring that all students have a productive and effective academic program. This is an intense compressed academic course. Students who miss days may not complete the course. Poor student attendance or behavior issues will prohibit us from reaching our goals with your student and the rest of the students in interim session. Students will be required to adhere to the Tenney School Summer School Policies. Students will be registered on a first come/first served basis. Due to the compressed schedule of summer courses, most courses will be taught at the Academic level with the content tested in our standard final exams. Students requesting advanced (Honors) courses would be considered on a case-by-case basis and may require additional instruction (tuition).

Fees & Refunds: A deposit of $500 is required to secure a spot for summer school. This deposit is non-refundable. The deposit will be returned in the event we do not have capacity for your student. The remaining tuition will be refunded should you withdraw from the course before May 1st. No refunds will be given for students withdrawing after May 1st.
