The Tenney School was honored to hear first hand the story of Anthony Graves. The Tenney School Crime Scene Investigation class had studied Anthony’s case this fall, and were grateful he accepted their invitation to speak at our school. As a 25 year old, Anthony was convicted for the murder of six people. He was imprisoned, spent time on death row, and scheduled for execution twice for a crime he did not commit. All total, Anthony spent 6,640 days incarcerated. The story of the injustice Anthony faced, and his remarkable resilience in spite of this injustice, will get your attention. Anthony’s story challenges the way you think about the death penalty and our legal system itself. Click on the video link to hear his story.
